Welcome to Dance Planet Studio!
To ensure a safe, positive, and professional environment,
we kindly ask that all students, parents, and staff members adhere to the following policies:

1. Lesson bookings & Payments
• Bookings: All students must book their private lessons in advance.
• Payments: The applicable fee must be paid before or shortly after attending any
lessons/classes.
Payments can be made, via card, bank transfer or in cash at the studio.
• Cancelations: You will be charged a cancellation fee if you cancel or reschedule your
private lesson without giving a minimum of 24 hours notice prior to the start of the
appointment. The cancellation fee will be 100% of the lesson amount.
• Refunds: Tuition is non-refundable. In the case of extended absences (due to injury or
illness), credits may be applied at the discretion of the studio director.

2. Attendance & Punctuality
• Arrival: Students should arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of class/lesson to warm
up and prepare.
• Absences: If a student will be absent, please notify the studio in advance.

3. Dress Code
• Attire: All students must wear appropriate attire and enquire if they are not sure what that
would be. We kindly ask students and parents to enter the studio with clean shoes and not
step on the dance floor with outside shoes.
4. Studio Etiquette
• Respect: Students are expected to be respectful to instructors and peers at all times.
• Participation: Students are encouraged to participate fully and maintain a positive attitude.
Observers may not enter the studio during class without permission.
• Cell Phones: Phones must be turned off or set to silent during class.

5. Safety
• Health: Students should not attend class if they are feeling unwell or showing symptoms of
illness. The studio will follow all relevant health protocols.
• Injury: Any injuries should be reported to the instructor immediately.
• Supervision: Parents/guardians must supervise young children before and after lesson/class.
The studio is not responsible for students outside of lesson/class times.

7. Studio Policies
• Photography & Video: The studio may take photos or videos during classes and events for
promotional use. If you do not wish for you or your child to be photographed or filmed,
please notify the studio in writing.
• Property: The studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please label all belongings
and keep valuables at home.
• Studio Cleanliness: Students are expected to keep the studio clean and tidy, including
disposing of trash and keeping personal belongings organised.
